Community Sand Mandala: You’re invited to participate!
March 8-15, 2015 The Monks of Drepung Loseling Monastery will be making of a sacred Medicine Buddha Sand Mandala at the Tibetan Gallery.

The Barlow is inviting the local community to create a mandala as well, and they need your designs!  The theme of the community mandala will be UNITY.

The Barlow invites you to submit your design via Facebook or email (lisa at thebarlow. net)  or drop it off at their office (next door to Tibetan Gallery). The winning design will be selected on March 2nd by Tashi.

The community mandala will be hosted at the Tibetan Gallery & Studio the same time the monks of Loseling will be completing their mandala. We ask designs to be simple in nature, and in solid colors (vs. shading).  The ‘coloring’ of the design is open to all members of the community. (You don’t need to be local to submit your design… we welcome submissions from everyone!)

MONKS’ MEALS:
What an amazing way to generate karma… helping provide meals for the monks during their visit. Community Market at the Barlow has set up a table where you can donate or grab a voucher to be rung up with your groceries. The monks are relying on the market for their breakfasts, lunches and dinners.
